ASICS running shoes
Engineered mesh uppers, GEL units and soft foam like FF Blast. We foam clean the mesh by hand, scrub midsoles gently, wash the insoles and deal with odour at the source. No heat, which matters a lot for foam.
Onitsuka Tiger
Mexico 66s are leather or suede with thin, flat soles. Leather gets cleaned and conditioned. Suede is dry cleaned. The coloured stripes are cleaned with care so they do not bleed.
The process
How we clean ASICS shoes
Pickup and a proper look
We collect from your door, note scuffs, loose soles and old stains with you, and tag each pair so nothing gets mixed up.
Laces out, dry brush first
Laces and insoles come out. Loose dirt and dried mud are brushed off before any water touches the shoe.
Cleaned by material
Mesh and canvas get a foam wash, leather a pH-balanced cleaner, suede a dry eraser and steam. One method never fits every pair.
Soles and midsoles
Rubber edges and midsoles are scrubbed by hand. Yellowed white soles get a separate whitening treatment where it is safe to use.
Deodorise and sanitise
Insoles and the inside lining are washed and treated for odour, so the shoe smells clean when you put your foot in, not just on the outside.
Air dried, laced, delivered
Shoes dry slowly in moving air with no direct heat, which is what warps glue and cracks leather. Then fresh laces in, packed, and back to you.
