Jordan shoe cleaning in Mumbai
Jordans are the pairs people are most nervous to hand over. Fair enough, given what some of them cost on resale. They are also the ones that most need a careful hand: patent leather, nubuck, suede, icy soles.
Jordan 1s
Leather 1s clean up beautifully, honestly some of the most satisfying shoes we do. Nubuck and suede versions get dry cleaned. The big thing is colour blocking, since a wet brush dragged across a red panel can bleed into the white beside it.
4s and 11s
Jordan 4s have that mesh netting, nubuck, and painted midsoles that chip if anyone scrubs them hard. Jordan 11 patent leather gets wiped and polished, and the icy soles get extra care because older pairs yellow so easily.
One pair at a time
We photograph every Jordan pair at pickup and tag it so it never gets mixed up. Bring the box if you like. No machines, no bleach, no heat, ever.
The process
How we clean Jordan shoes
Pickup and a proper look
We collect from your door, note scuffs, loose soles and old stains with you, and tag each pair so nothing gets mixed up.
Laces out, dry brush first
Laces and insoles come out. Loose dirt and dried mud are brushed off before any water touches the shoe.
Cleaned by material
Mesh and canvas get a foam wash, leather a pH-balanced cleaner, suede a dry eraser and steam. One method never fits every pair.
Soles and midsoles
Rubber edges and midsoles are scrubbed by hand. Yellowed white soles get a separate whitening treatment where it is safe to use.
Deodorise and sanitise
Insoles and the inside lining are washed and treated for odour, so the shoe smells clean when you put your foot in, not just on the outside.
Air dried, laced, delivered
Shoes dry slowly in moving air with no direct heat, which is what warps glue and cracks leather. Then fresh laces in, packed, and back to you.
