Puma shoe cleaning in Mumbai
The Puma Suede is in the name, and suede is exactly what goes wrong at home. We also clean Puma leather sneakers, RS-X and running shoes.
Puma Suede and Palermo
Classic Puma Suedes and Palermos are dry cleaned: eraser on marks, steam on flat patches and a brush to lift the nap. The formstrip on the side gets cleaned without rubbing colour onto the suede.
RS-X and chunky sneakers
Lots of panels and textures. Mesh gets a foam clean, leather a leather cleaner, and the thick midsoles a proper scrub.
Running and training shoes
Puma Velocity, Deviate and training shoes get the full sports shoe treatment: insoles washed, odour treated and foam dried slowly.
The process
How we clean Puma shoes
Pickup and a proper look
We collect from your door, note scuffs, loose soles and old stains with you, and tag each pair so nothing gets mixed up.
Laces out, dry brush first
Laces and insoles come out. Loose dirt and dried mud are brushed off before any water touches the shoe.
Cleaned by material
Mesh and canvas get a foam wash, leather a pH-balanced cleaner, suede a dry eraser and steam. One method never fits every pair.
Soles and midsoles
Rubber edges and midsoles are scrubbed by hand. Yellowed white soles get a separate whitening treatment where it is safe to use.
Deodorise and sanitise
Insoles and the inside lining are washed and treated for odour, so the shoe smells clean when you put your foot in, not just on the outside.
Air dried, laced, delivered
Shoes dry slowly in moving air with no direct heat, which is what warps glue and cracks leather. Then fresh laces in, packed, and back to you.
